Merlin Fulcher is a writer, artist and journalist based in Battersea, south west London. His work focuses on human experience, and on social interaction with the built and metaphysical environment. Since 2009, Fulcher has contributed to running Platform One Gallery – an alternative arts space within Wandsworth Common train station. He is competitions editor for The Architects’ Journal and The Architectural Review, and has contributed articles to New Civil Engineer, Construction News and The Evening Standard. Recent projects include Post-strike – a pamphlet exploring nuclear warfare’s visual impact in the UK – and Zowl! – an illustrated children’s book set in the City of London. Fulcher has performed poetry and spoken word pieces for the Different Skies experimental writing platform.
